ROOS 1835 refers to the old Antwerp diamond cut “roses”. This rose-cut diamond is flat at the bottom, unlike the brilliant cut which has a faceted point at the bottom. The Roos1835 collection combines the innovative rose cut with brilliant cut diamonds.

Rose-cut diamonds produce a different kind of brilliance. Rose 1835, where the use of rose-cut diamonds takes center stage. The rose cut is a historic, almost forgotten cut. Rose-cut diamonds, unlike brilliant-cut diamonds, have flat backs. Each diamond has its own unique shape after polishing, which for the designers at Roos 1835 guides the final design.
The designs of ROOS 1835 are completely handmade by real goldsmiths, making each piece of jewelry unique. Only 18 carat gold and the best quality gemstones and diamonds are used.
